Founded in 2023 by animal lover Sophi, Jurassic Bark is run by a dog care professional with 15 years' experience in rescue and boarding kennels. Jurassic Bark was created to deliver          dependable dog walking with expert                 understanding of canine behaviour. We believe every dog deserves safe, joyful walks and owners deserve peace of mind knowing their pets are in caring hands.

"When I was 15 years old I studied animal care at Walford college which resulted in me achieving a BTEC in Animal Care.                       

 I started my journey working with dogs at the ripe old age of 17 when I got my first job working at Dogs Trust. Through my 4 years working there, I gained a lot of valuable experience working with all kinds of dogs. Being a rescue centre, there was a lot of very scared, vulnerable and aggressive dogs. None of this phased me and I was determined to get stuck in, learn as much as I could and help as many dogs as I was able to.
Since then, I have worked with numerous dog rescues doing things such as transporting dogs, home checks, fundraising, fostering and much more.
I started working in a rescue/boarding kennels in 2022. I worked with a lot of fearful, neglected and abused dogs and did everything I could to help them on their journey to a better home.
I left the kennels in 2023 to set up my own dog    walking business. In the past few years, I have walked and looked after hundreds of dogs and loved every second of it, but I am just getting started. I  currently offer dog walking and Doggy Days Out, but in the coming months I will be offering pet sitting in the owners home. I am currently working on getting my Level 3 Dog Behaviour qualification so watch this space!
